VIS Withdrawal System Update

There is a system update for VIS withdrawal that you should come to know. Please read the article to learn about its ins and outs, and have your questions answered!
Silver VIS now has two states:
Claimable Silver VIS: This VIS can be withdrawn and turned into Gold VIS.
- Gold VIS is the on-chain token that you can trade on the blockchain.
Locked Silver VIS: This VIS can only be used for in-game purposes and cannot be withdrawn (turned into Gold VIS).

Where can I use my Locked Silver VIS?:
Following this update, you can use your Locked Silver VIS for in-game operations such as…
- Race Entry Fee for all races.
- Expand Asset and Rent Stable
Usability for these features is currently under development (placed in order of priority):
- Fusing
- Craft Key & Usage of Items
- Breeding
- Change Name & Crowning
Not all functionality will come all at once; the list follows the order of development and implementation.
When using any of these features, the UI will show information on the number of needed Locked and Claimable Silver VIS.
Operations, such as fees for racing, will prioritize your Locked Silver VIS.
Examples of this phenomenon are the following:
- If a Pledge Racing entry fee costs 10 VIS, and you currently have 5 Locked Silver VIS and 5 Claimable Silver VIS, the system automatically takes from both balances.
- If a Pledge Racing entry fee costs 10 VIS, and you currently have 20 Locked Silver VIS and 5 Claimable Silver VIS, the system will only take from Locked Silver VIS.
How does Claimable Silver VIS turn into Locked Silver VIS?
The First Lock will change all Silver VIS from Claimable to Locked for users who have not raced since the launch of Pledge Racing (September 22, 2022).
For Future Locks, Claimable Silver VIS will become Locked Silver VIS if a user has not raced for 30 days.
- As a Scholar or Racer:
- If you do not race any of your Pega for 30 days.
- If, at the launch of the VIS Withdrawal update, you have not raced a Pega since Pegaxy’s Pledge Racing update.
- As a Manager:
- If you rent all of your Pega out, none have raced for 30 days. This counts for direct rent and public share profit rent modes.
Locked Silver VIS cannot be withdrawn and sold anytime.
While Locked Silver VIS is usable for in-game operations only (as stated above), they can be moved from Locked Silver VIS to Claimable Silver VIS through Racing Rewards.
How do you turn Locked Silver VIS into Claimable Silver VIS?
Turning your Locked Silver VIS to Claimable Silver VIS can be done by using Locked Silver VIS in-game and winning Claimable Silver VIS by Racing Rewards.
An example of this would be:
- If you have 1,000 Locked Silver VIS and use 100 as an entry fee for Pledge Racing, you will be left with 900 Locked Silver VIS and Claimable Silver VIS if you win the race.
- The Claimable Silver VIS reward from the race can be kept as Claimable Silver VIS or Withdrawn into Gold VIS after the 15-day wait period.
VIS Locking Countdown Notice:
If a player does not race for 23 days, they will receive an alert every time they open the app (for the remaining 7 days). This caution is a reminder to race to avoid the Silver VIS locking.
This notice is also available in Account Alerts, which is accessible via the menu in the upper right corner.
User Login 30 days without any races:
If a player fails to race for over 30 days, this notice will inform them of their Claimable Silver VIS conversion to Locked Silver VIS.
Important Info to know:
- Renting will be an operation that will aid in not causing Claimable VIS to turn locked. However, if all Pega rented out does not race, you will also be subject to Locked Silver VIS.
- Current Silver VIS will all start as Claimable Silver VIS. The 30 days of locking when inactive start from the update’s release.
- The cooldown for withdrawing Claimable Silver VIS into Gold VIS remains 15 days. Current users’ cooldown will not reset and will remain
- UI will differentiate Claimable Silver VIS and Locked Silver VIS
- When depositing Gold VIS, it will turn into Locked Silver VIS. There will be a pop-up to confirm this action to prevent accidental deposits.

Q: I’m looking to sell my VIS. How can I convert from Silver VIS to Gold VIS?
A: You will need your Silver VIS to be claimable before converting from Silver VIS to Gold VIS.
Q: How do I convert my VIS from Locked Silver VIS to Claimable Silver VIS?
A: Use your Locked Silver VIS as an entry fee to races. When you win a race through racing, your VIS awards will be considered Claimable VIS.
Q: What can Locked Silver VIS be used for?
A: Initially, your Locked Silver VIS can be used for Racing entry fees. Other features like Fusing, Craft Key & Item Usage, etc… will be implemented soon.
Q: When using Locked Silver VIS for operations, if I do not have enough Locked Silver VIS, but I have enough Claimable Silver VIS, how do I deposit into Locked Silver VIS to proceed?
A: The remaining cost automatically deducts from Claimable Silver VIS if you don’t have enough Locked Silver VIS.

A: It will turn into Locked Silver VIS that you can use for in-game operations.
Q: Why can’t I withdraw my Claimable Silver VIS?
A: The 15-day withdrawal rule still applies regardless of how much Claimable Silver VIS you have.
